Christmas ornaments
One of my favorite things to do with my “little people” is to think up fun crafts for them to make to “memorialize” a moment in their lives. This year for Christmas we made ornaments. Our first stop was Schoolhouse Beach. This is one of only five sandless beaches worldwide made entirely of small rocks and named for a one room school house which existed long ago. Next we traveled to a Lavendar Farm. Our last stop was Washington Island…

Fall
I love all seasons and that is why I would probably never leave the state of Wisconsin. That being said, I am usually excited for one season to end and the next to begin. I adore Halloween! It is fun and the “gateway” to Christmas, which is my most favorite! While I am not a decorating “guru” by any means, I have adopted a couple strategies that have served me very well. I like to use classic pieces which can easily be swapped out seasonly.
